Grandmother Aides
Little Years
recognizes that all children may, from time to time, need extra love
and attention like that given by grandmothers. Accordingly,
Little Years has instituted a program in which one or more qualified
"grandmothers" visit classrooms for limited periods of time to
administer an extra dose of TLC to those children who need it.
The grandmothers, who are paid employees, also relieve teachers for
lunch, breaks, etc. Grandmothers are subject to the same
pre-employment background checks as are the other employees.
